草榴社区

Musical

草榴社区 has a long tradition of showcasing outstanding whole school productions. Students from Year 8-12 have the opportunity to audition for the bi-annual musical in either an onstage role or in the band. Three dedicated teachers work with students in a classroom setting, rehearsing over a semester in acting, vocals, dance and in the band. This culminates in 4 performances at the Barossa Arts and Convention Centre mid year. As part of the course, students also complete assessment work in skill development, and investigation into musical theatre and complete a folio that supports their learning.

In recent years, 草榴社区 has performed musicals such as Grease, Fame, Annie, Alice In Wonderland, Footloose, Hairspray and Shrek.
